a new sail

i know i've been away for a long time, in terms of this fashion blog but it's just wonderful thinking and looking back at how God has slowly but surely guided my sail in the direction i am in now. it's been a whole bunch of hardwork and stress but i'm so happy doing something that i love. God truly has a better plan, a plan that didn't even cross my mind! (when i was in JC, I'd take breaks and head off to a cafe and try to "brainstorm" a purpose in my life. I had no idea what i wanted to study and i had no idea what i wanted to do in terms of a career. but i can tell you one thing for sure, is that if i pull up my journal of yesteryears you won't find the word photographer or fashion anywhere in that spiral bound.)

But don't look at me with envy or think that "i have the life" or that "she's so young...(cos i'm NOT young!! haha seriously i have a er...childish face.)". I know what it feels like to be at a place where you can't stand where you are and you struggle to get through it, but don't be in despair! Because i look back and realize that though at that point it was terrible for me, but i see how that part of my life has shaped my future and it is good ;)

It has definitely been a whole bunch of hard work, such that i haven't had any time to create content for this blog! One might think that being a photographer is a very "nothing-to-do-just-shoot-and-edit-pictures" kind of job but there's so much more that goes into it (but i don't want to bore you haha).

During one of my photoshoots, in between looks, while the other model was resting (she was a little sea sick), beatrice and I were just chilling on the sofa in the aircon room and she just decided to pick up my camera and we swapped roles haha! being a photographer...well, let's just say i have TONS and TONS of photographs of my fiance (ken), my sister, my friends...yup, you get the picture. So either i was just too tired from shooting (rocking boat, squating in a dingy under the hot sun while trying to direct the lighting and models can be rather exhuasting) to feel self-conscious or just because i was comfortable with bea photographing me, i didn't feel weird modeling for her haha and she directed the shoot and took some of the most lovely pictures i've seen of myself in a long long time.

So, there'll be more to come! Random stylish people that I meet on the street, I'll try to take that extra step to snap their picture. "So please say yes! And thank you in advance, hee :)" And I'll be uploading some personal style photos too. I'll try to pace myself so as not to feel overwhelmed but do drop by often and spread the word <3

i absolutely love shooting couples/engagement sessions. it's a dedicated time where you're free to love and hug and laugh and giggle with your loved one whether the person's your family, a wonderful friend or a special someone. and having it caught in a photograph to keep and to cherish <3

i had a wonderful time at the shoot with sueann and lawrence, who are my junior juniors(!) from Singapore Management University haha. the shoot was a little present to herself to celebrate her twenty first birthday! and of course, one can't help but notice that sueann just has the most adorable laughter and smile that just makes you think how sweet and beautiful she is! these are the couple shots, but there's more individual shots too and some behind the scene film photographs coming up too :D

my dearest NTBgals, i've finally squeezed in some time to produce a solid 12 piece collection on the shop! so head on over ;) (click to shop) we shot the whole collection downstairs against one of those white walls at the HDB void deck. No studio lights, no backdrops, just stripped bare.
shot a simple lookbook with an Olympus LT zoom 105 camera that i bought 2nd hand for like $10.00 haha. hope you enjoy the collection :)

You know me, i love fashion! Shooting fashion editorials are lots of fun, but photographing real people gives me an even greater sense of fulfillment. And because i love fashion, it spills over in the way i capture moments and photograph people.

I've flipped through a tiny bit of men's magazine. Like GQ or August Man, i don't remember much of it but sometimes i like what i see. While i was photographing the men in the family getting ready for the chinese wedding dinner in the hotel room, i was inspired. I shot like i was doing a lifestyle feature segment for GQ or August Man ;)

Hope you enjoy the pictures :D well, today after replying some emails and getting a bit of work done, I think i'm going to take an off day or something. my body's been threatening me to get some rest with flu and a headache over the weekend. hope you have a great monday :)

Last Thursday, with a rare reason to dress up (other then weddings at where i'm a guest, without the camera), I met up with the girls to Marina Bay Sands to attend a fashion show party held at Avalon to mark Robinsons’ debut at Marina Bay Sands!

The entrance was snuggled in between the huge shop windows of Robinsons and honestly the new Robinsons at Marina Bay Sands looks beautiful, sparkly and New York. Robinson’s has definitely revamped their image with this gorgeous store, it’s not just a departmental store, it’s an amazing shopping experience! On top of their fabulous make over, Robinson’s got the goods to sparkle too! Playing host to some amazing brands like Rebecca Minkoff, CC Skye and Lulu Guinness! Can’t wait to head back there to browse properly but one of the labels that stood out was Sandrina Fasoli

Ok, so Avalon was pretty cool. I loved the huge dance floor, the ginger ale and the music was good. Too bad no one dance haha. I also secretly enjoyed watching the MioTV reruns while waiting for the fashion show to start. Haha yes, I hate to admit it, but I love watching TV. There was Big Bang Theory and even though there was no sound…well I could read lips? There was this part in Big Bang Theory where this guy stripped and took off his clothes. He finally left with his undies and he pulled it down lifted his hands in a dorky way and said “Tadah!!” haha, it was so silly it cracked me up. Did you know for MioTV subscribers, now you’ll be able to watch your favourite episodes 24 hours after the US telecast. How cool is that! No more waiting ;)

The fashion show started and before each segment they’d screen a short video segment of a sitcom and then the models will walk out in clothing that was styled according to the show! It was one FUN way to style a show and also catch all the cool episodes and dramas.

So I’m gonna let you have some fun guessing the looks!

shuffling in love

did a shoot with aiping & jerome. they wanted to get couple shots! so we packed up the luggage and headed off to the woods. this was the first look (three all together!) aiping was obsessed with the shuffling song and the dance (yes, she apparently learnt the whole thing and wore ballet slippers so she could shuffle properly!! haha). so the 2 of them shuffled away and we ended up with the shot in the middle. more to come!!

settling my accounts today (grrr, i can do it!!) and editing through the pictures from the graduation session last week. the menswear fashion shoot went GREAT last saturday, will blog about that soon when the pictures are ready ;) then we also have 2 more lookbooks to be planned and executed so it'll be uber fun!! yay

had a brilliant meal yesterday evening and will blog more about it soon. haha, i got onto instagram just to have the fun of photographing all my food :P and other stuff of course!

we're back with part (II) of the engagement/pre-wedding shoot with eileen & mervyn. i'm glad we scheduled the shoot early enough such that all the shops were still there and functioning. because i went back there less then a week later and all the shops were evacuated :( no baseball bergadal mee soto for me. sad. and there were also all these ugly white booths that were set up by the m'sian tourism department. so thank God we went earlier.

eileen's wearing her mom's vintage wedding dress and i think she just looks so stunning! and with the hat, ahh...i could tell mervyn was getting the hang of this photoshoot-thingy haha so i'm so proud of the both of them, they did amazing!!

alot of people started to take photos of them hahaha (i think it's starting to become a trend at my shoots, will explain more soon) some even thought we were doing a commercial haha funny. well, we're down with 2 locations and just one more location to go!

{nicolethen studio} x dreams

i can't remember when i started working on the project. yup, that's probably how long ago i started. but i know i kept delaying the launch date. i guess part of me wasn't sure. i mean, it was my dream to have a magazine (that's why my blog was called cherry magazine) but do i have any experience? touch and go. so there was this resistance and fear about whether the magazine was good enough and such. but i guess, that's the whole point of dreams magazine. it's that you have a dream or an idea and then you have fears and resistance. despite that, you'll break through it and work on your dream.
part of me is afraid and yet part of me is not afraid of failure, or of imperfections. because my dreams are always a work in progress and i'm always aiming for it to get better. so come along with me and the team on this journey and if you've got a story to share do drop me an email too :)

photography is a little like being a treasure hunter. you go into the shoot for 2-3 hours and you dig and dig or chase and chase for that shot that embodies everything that is good and reflects your vision.
i did this shoot with rach and wanted to do this crazy print layer on layer styled shoot. her class ended really late so we didn't have the amount of time that i would like to do a shoot. plus, we had to forsake the initial location for one just around the corner. but despite all that, i think the shots turned out gorgeous ;) so i'm really happy!

EM engagement shoot

i need to start speeding up with my blog posts on the shoots that i have done haha. this one was done in JUNE :P and it was really fun. broken up into 3 posts, this engagement shoot took us to 3 really cool locations (inspired by the short film by Royston Tan called Old Places) in 8 hours.
first stop: Queenstown Estate. when i went there, it was really eerie. the whole estate was vacant. blocks and blocks of nothing. it felt almost sad to think of how it once was when people occupied it and memories were made. they were supposed to demolish this old buildings, but after the national day speech...maybe not so soon. haha
when we were shooting there halfway, this uncle just came casually and opened the door to the cinema/bowling alley. and we all just jumped at the chance to explore the inside of the building together. the uncle was so nice and we had an exclusive chance to get a peek into the old building. really really cool, it's literally from the old period sometime i'm guessing in the 80s or 90s. the deco was like the old american diners. the bowling lanes were stripped away but part of the mechanics that lifted the pins were still there. the cinema theatre was pretty cool and scary too. it was too dark though to go all the way in. there was no electricity and the place was pretty much boarded up. but wow, we did feel special to be able to look inside!!

woah i am exhausted. haha i think this week i have officially over stretched myself. i think i have a good 3 different projects to share all lined up and buzzing with excitement in their photo frames. on top of the shoots i’m also working on an engagement shoot album design/layout and polishing up the DREAMS project. i have a ton of admin stuff to clear too once i’m done with this hurdle.
tomorrow nadia’s gonna help me with the parcels to be sent out and we have another shoot with a couple i absolutely adore after squeezing in a lunch time interview with S. ah, talking about interviews, i want to thank the SEVENTEEN magazine team for featuring my site in their August issue together with many other cool fashion bloggers! Thank you :) (will post a scan of the page soon)

i live like a gypsy

it was one of those days when i said, "i want to try out strobes (artificial) lighting...come nadia, be my model for the day!" ok, i didn't say it like that exactly but...along the lines haha

i got this heavy ass ton of a portable lighting and carried it up a hill...a very very high hill...and tested a few shots moving the lights around and i just hated it. i found that i was forcing myself to like the results that came from using artificial lighting because i found in many instances, well...some people equate using strobes=professional. what i didn't like about the photos that were lighted with strobes was that it was too harsh, it gave that "darkness" or "moodiness" to a photo that i didn't like (although i do appreciate moody & dark photographs on magazines, i just don't have that much fun and fulfillment from actually shooting them myself haha). but i was glad i tried it out, i'm starting to understand my style as a photographer and it's comforting to allow myself to be myself.

being a photographer is like being a conductor to an orchestra. you don't just push the button and count 1,2,3 (although it does look like all the conductor does is wave a stick and dance to the music haha). it starts with the vision, researching on the concept, then finding the right venue (then cropping the right parts of the venue), working with the stylist on the concept, communicating the idea to the model/make up artist/team/etc, guiding the model into a shot that is most flattering yet not over-posed, making sure the clothing is seen in the best light (for fashion photography), making sure the styling works well with the background of choice, making sure the lighting is right, my ISO/shutter speed/aperture are in the right marker, work through a myriad of different shots, compositions or poses then we take the prints home and work on it on photoshop (for digital prints) and this post-processing part takes alot of time and effort too. for a typical fashion shoot, i usually take a total of 8-10 hours from start to finish. well, at least, this is the amount of effort i take into producing those images haha

although for these images, i cut down the post-processing by a ton because i shot with film. i think i used 3 different types of film and was afraid that the effects would be different. but well unless you look closely will you be able to see the difference between the films.

rachel was simply stunning with a hot bod and a gorgeous smile ;) but what stood out more was the abundant praise her friends and family had about what a beautiful person rachel was on the inside. of how much they appreciate her for being such a blessing to their lives.

that's truly one thing i love about weddings, that it gives people the opportunity to express (and cry!) their love for one another (not just between the couple but friends & family).

the highlight of the evening? this cool dance item the bunch of them did to the song "I think I want to marry you". awesome performance and so cute!

good morning everyone!! haha hope you had a good night's rest. aren't weekends the best? (ok, never thought i'd say this. there was a period of time when i actually couldn't wait to get back to work...i mean, i still love my work and all haha i just really enjoy the break ;))

i'm really happy for all these quaint small cafes like forty hands (whom i've blogged about before) and the PLAIN (pictures up soon!). In terms of profitability, i really hope they're doing really really well. cause, they're popularity is really increasing and if it's too crowded then...it's not as nice anymore. so i hope if they have more customers, that they will have the capital to open up another small cafe with good food and most importantly, good coffee.

if only my saturdays could be spent having a coffee and sandwich at a cafe. but if i'm not wrong, saturdays are insanely crowded. so that's a no no for me (side track) did you know, that when i was younger, before i found photography, i actually really wanted to set up a cafe? because i LURVE cafes. i worked at cedele for a period of time and it was a blast! so who knows, haha maybe in the future i'll be able to have my own cafe :P (day dreaming here, cause the start up cost for F&B is actually insanity...just putting things in perspective here haha)

my friends mentioned bali that day and wouldn't mind bringing us there and showing us around. then i flipped through their ipad and saw pictures of surf boards in bali...i really want to go...cause i REALLY want to surf!! ahhh, now it seems like plans are actually happening to head there this august/september. hm...hopefully it happens? cause i actually feel like packing now :(

plus i really want to get my longboard and hopefully...HOPEFULLY...have the time to skate it. alright, i need to head out now! running low on film catridges for my canon "gun". i think i need to stock up a few

botanic gardens

did you know that the botanical gardens is actually really the botanic gardens? haha there are many other botanical gardens in the world but singapore's garden is actually without the "-al". haha i didn't know that and for a long long long time it was botanical gardens to me.

a few days ago, i met up with my sis and mom and we picnic-ed at the botanic gardens and it's rather lovely. the sun was just glowing, the weather wasn't too hot and we had sandwiches, mint tea with honey, cedele's carrot cake and fruit juice. it's really relaxing just to sit around chit chat and people watch :) plus there was this group of gypsy-like young adults who started taking out their instruments like the accordion and harmonica and started playing nice french-like music. ah...if only it wasn't so far. haha
we also headed down there previously for another shoot and it was really relaxing after the shoot to just sit by the lake and give out the remaining bread crumbs to the animals <3

summer time part one

here are the first 2 looks from the shoot on the first day! we actually had a stay over at sentosa and woke up at like 5am to start with hair and make up. After these two shoots, it rained really badly :( it was the day that orchard flooded so yeah...it was insane rain.
but still we had a good shoot with constance and collette haha so it wasn't too bad. at least we cleared 2 looks this week if not having to shoot 6 looks and a group shot the following sunday would mean the shoot will run into the noon-time sun. in the end, we just waited for the rain to stop watching rugrat movies, drinking orange juice and eating animal biscuit on the bed.

that day, i had some extra time in between appointments, so i thought why don't i just walk around the streets and see if i happen to spot anyone interesting. but i only had my film camera which i just bought :P haha

then i met Firah and i couldn't have asked for a better person to jump start my street style session! ok, being new to the film camera i was using, i didn't even realize that i had no more film. so i kept trying to adjust it once...twice...give up! in the end i used my iphone 3Gs and throughout the whole time Firah was so patient with me (THANK YOU GIRL, you rock!)

she even encouraged me to carry on doing what i do. i mean seriously!! isn't she awesome? it's not just cause she was so nice that i affirm her or that she had this cool tee with really nice looking shoes (that i want). but that she's part of this new "wave" of singaporeans who are outspoken with their encouragement and supportive. i think it's about time we change the bad aspects of our society ! so I give her street cred for both style and attitude ;)

rachel has the most hilarious brothers ever and it really made the whole experience both incredibly moving and memorable. and it was clear that they love bryan like he was truly their brother.
i couldn't ask for a better group of "brothers" to photograph. they were really helpful, accommodating (especially when i made them walk up and down the damp grass for a shot of all of them together haha) and genuinely nice guys.

and i believe it's a reflection of the bryan himself whom was described by rachel's dad as someone who quietly loves rachel and the family and was always there to lend a hand.

plus, it was pretty evident how much bryan loves rachel when he reached into a plastic bag, overcame his horrid-fear of lizards and kissed it, an obstacle he had to overcome, so that he could see his beautiful bride. then when he was right outside the door, declaring his love and promises out loud, he couldn't help but start choking up with tears ;)

I'm off to get ready for my very early photoshoot at sentosa but before that, i thought i'd share with you this video i made with kylie. kylie's our very first person we interviewed for dreams magazine!

kylie studies in hawaii but she's back for the summer holidays and she says that even though hawaii is so beautiful, it just does not feel like home. we had oodles of cakes and coffee at Kki (which i realized can be pronounced as "cak-ee" haha) and browsed the little drom store where we picked up a "singlish" dictionary and shared a joke of how kylie should get it as revision. haha

it was really fun hanging out, more pictures soon!

now i'm off to get changed into some denim shorts and a boy's tee. have a good day ;)

hey guys, forever 21 has opened their largest flagship store at Singapore's Orchard Exchange! there'll be an official store opening media event on the 22 June complete with live mannequin displays, a fashion parade and an interactive photoshoot station :)

Together with the preppy & stylish boys from ONESIXTYNOTEPAD and the beautiful miss tammy from ohsofickle, we'll be styling forever 21 mannequins live on that day!! Yeeps, nervous and excited. haha we'll be pulling pieces from new lines that forever 21 will be showcasing - love 21 and their menswear line 21 men. so don't forget to check the new store out and the mannequins too as our "looks"will be on display for that week!

thank God the rain stopped in time for sunset, phew! we rushed back to the armenian church to snap some shots (which is a sentimental location to denise because she wished her wedding there as a little girl!)

lasalle student show

well the show started off really funny. there were these two "cleaners" (not sure how legit they were) and they stood on the runway for a really long time with their trolley of rubbish and brooms and mops. it seemed like they really wanted that one-minute of fame on the runway. the guys next to me were having a tremendously good time laughing and taking picture of the girl apparently "posing" with her brooms. haha but i think it turned out that it was part of the show...so haha guess it kind of looses that funny factor.

but anyway, onto the show. i was impressed with some of the pieces and the designers behind them. it was finished well, it was something fresh and it could fit in well amongst established designers and still have their unique flair. i almost wish i could get some of the pieces - especially the pieces from "tea time" with laser cut outs and the "pom pom" like black throw over. really well done!
for some, moving forward, they can work on polishing up the designs a bit more. the over exposure of the boobs, butts and panties seemed more accidental then deliberate and tasteful. the designs were beautiful and it doesn't need unnecessary distraction. there were also a lot of design references - viktor & rolf, prada, etc. but for a graduate show, i think it's fine to take inspirations from designers you admire. but now, take your own inspiration and run with it ;)

on the whole, it was a great show. lasalle was even invited to showcase their designers at london fashion week! for that, i'm excited and happy for the students and graduates of the school.

this weekend is going to be crazy! haha i pray i pull through it. not only are there two weddings but i have to vote and it's mother's day too!! goodness, could anything else be crammed into this weekend? lol

i attended the wedding rehearsal two or three days back and to me, this is very important. just knowing what is going to happen and how much space i have to shoot and what kind of lens to use where and when. we also shot the pre-wedding shoot yesterday - and it rained badly :( - but still despite those circumstances and suddenly being thrust into a new location and making it work well, i think everyone did fantastic. pictures will be up soon ;)

the future bride & groom were really cheeky and sneaky (which i totally love about them!) and they didn't want to kiss in front of the guests. haha ah...but they had no choice yesterday at the shoot and they are so romantic i tell you!! like i was watching those old romantic movies

my observations on singapore's general elections

when i was 20 plus years old, during the last election, i didn't get a chance to vote but then again i didn't see a point in voting. i didn't feel my vote mattered. but this time round, it's different. i feel like my vote really matters. every person votes, according to what he or she sees as a priority. they vote for the one who shares the same vision, enforces the same priorities, has character they look up to and has the ability to see it through.

i'm not here to influence a vote to either party whether it's for the PAP or for the opposition. don't vote for one party just because every one is, or don't vote "that" way just because every one seems to be voting this way. instead, like every decision in life, talk to both sides, read and listen extensively then take a look at your own vision, priorities, hopes and dreams for the country. then make a deliberate choice. or at least, this is the process that's going through my head.

on a side note:
(which is suppose to be more then one point, haha but because i don't have much time to write about other observations i have during the election as i have to prepare for a shoot later today, well then it's a little shorter. maybe i'll come back to it later. but i'd love to hear what you as singaporeans think!)

i think we honestly don't believe in ourselves. have you watched the apprentice? you've seen how a bad project manager can still win a task if he has a group of really good workers who are resourceful and hardworking. and if a project manager wins a task, it is unlikely that he alone claims the credit. he wins both because of his management skills but also because he has a good team. so singaporeans, our leaders may be good, not so good or new but if we as singaporeans continue to do our best then singapore will soar. what i'm saying is that we also played a part in our country's success and i do see that despite a recent loss in a sense of belonging to our own country, singaporeans do love singapore with a passion and it's time we have faith in us!

in between shows, we went to grab a late dinner and greg announced that he was going to eat only fashion food - water. haha i wanted to be lame and say he could eat french fries cause they were skinny & french ;) but nah, lol i'll spare them my lam-ity.

i've never been to an art school and doubt i'll be entering one anytime soon, it was an interesting experience being immersed for a day in the life of a student at lasalle as a model. and here's the clause -- i know myself. i'm not a model. period. haha so there's alot of filtering of pictures ;) especially for the next post to come, cause for these pictures, they were snapped with my iphone...so very little pictures of me actually in them haha

and men's fashion week comes to a close. i think out of the little shows i managed to attend, my favourite show has got to be ISSUE. the styling, the runway, the music, the flags hanging from the top and the clothes - i just loved the whole concept. i like it when people take the time to make the experience encapsulating rather then just a simple runway (although, yes i understand, cost can be an issue).

so this time round, i decided to take my film camera instead of a digital camera. because, maybe it will invoke a different feeling? or give a different "angle"? i don't know. but it was just a fun challenge i gave myself haha. so instead of having my pictures uploaded onto the blog immediately, it will take some time. so you'll see me talking about MFW11 even after it has ended. (a roll of film is still in my bag undeveloped from before MFW11 haha)

here's another sneak peek, but this time for the NTB lookbook <3 I like this picture, but since it won't be "officially" in the 3-look lookbook, just because it doesn't quite fit in in terms of a common story line but is still blogpost worthy, it's up first! haha

we were shooting at the location when this grumpy uncle came and parked his bicycle near the tree and i thought "perfect! let's put you there!!". while shooting, i kept a constant lookout because i don't think this uncle would be pleased at all that we (a) sat on his bicycle (b) was taking pictures of it and (c) was having alot of fun at his expense. haha when i was done and we crossed the street to get different shots, he came back and i was like "phew". perfect timing haha

and man...as isolated as this location was, there were so many uncles who...i don't know, had something to say? haha that seems to happen with my models :P haha

in celebration of mens fashion week 2011, here's a guy street style post ;) ok, i didn't specifically look out for guys to shoot. he's a friend of a friend of a friend and since we were all together i said why not? i don't usually photograph guys i don't know on the streets. it's just awkward, to me at least. so i jumped at the chance to take a portrait of osborne in a really relaxed way and i'm really glad i chose to shoot him in such a manner because it's really reflecting of his style - cool and effortless

what i've been up to: a sneak peek

Did a shoot with the lovebonito crew a few days back and i had so much fun! haha, yes you might notice a few familiar accessories, i just thought they were perfect for the corporate lookbook so a brought all my junk over ;)

This was a much "larger" lookbook of six different looks in six different spots and this is just a sneak peek haha. the next day i was off for another shoot and i'm dying to talk about it, cause we had a lot of laughs in between take but i have to wait until the "closing date closes". if i told you what i loved about her outfit, i'd be naggy. haha but check out her socks! and tell me if you noticed what i just noticed ;) teehee. one thing i'd like to point out is her amazing "body bag". or what i called "body con bag" cause it hugs your body? it looks like a really comfy bag! everytime i go back shopping i always end up insanely frustrated because i carry a boat load of stuff ( i can't help it! haha ), i need my bag to be flexible and be carried in many different ways - shoulder, arm, back pack or sling, and it needs to be soft so it doesn't bruise me. that's why until now i still carry my camera shopping bag tote that i got from my friend's mom shop when i bought something haha i can't find the right one for me :(

I know I'm a girl, and well...technically, these clothes aren't for me. But i still find myself picking out looks that i want to wear. haha plus when you hear the passion of the MFW team that drives this event forward, you can't help but be inspired as well. I must say I am really happy to be a witness to this event and the MFW team and designers can feel proud of being the DNA of this inaugural event - i mean, Singapore is placed 3rd in the world after paris and milan to host such a distinguished men's fashion event!! Of course, the MFW team is also the first in Asia ;) With spokesmen like Utt (MTV VJ), Phillip Huang (Internationally Acclaimed Model) and Julian Hee (Singaporean Actor) together with young designers & their collections all over asia, this sounds to be a promising event.
