3. Mad Hatters - Getting all Alice in Wonderland with a tea party in sight, Moschino Cheap & Chic is ready to indulge in pastries for their Resort season. Plastering the iconic button downed shirt on the back of a lovely feminine dress, it's womanly and yet playful as the Mad Hatter calls to the rules of a checkered board in black and white.
4. Abstract Grunge - If preppy is not your style, Rag and Bone contorts the tuxedo trend with a rebellious streak. Not to classical music but to the electric sounds of rock, this outfit fits right in for the gigs and the bands. Rag and Bone stays true to monochrome and the cut of the tuxedo vest but takes out the polish and prep with leather, leggings, boots and chains. Not forgetting an out of bed hairdo.

FASHION TRUNK
The tuxedo trend has been around for some time but each season gives it's own little interpretation of this number. From literal to abstract Cherry Magazine shows you 4 different styles and ideas of wearing the Tuxedo Trend.

1. Literal Lines - From the Giorgio Armani Resort 2010 collection, it's buttoned down and high waisted with a black and white theme all over. Formal, fitted and a strong androgynous edge, this look resembles the men's tuxedo to a tee but shapes a women's body well.
2. Casual Class - Captured by Altamira NYC, Lily Donaldson picks a cropped jacket with a tuxedo cut but plays down the formality with a cotton white tee, black denim jeans and boots. Still adhering to the colour scheme, she plays with the angles with a slopping tee that adds an interesting dimension to her jacket.
